Weekly Wellness Tip
Evening Routine
💓Simple tips to create an evening routine. Taking time to unwind will set yourself up for a night of good quality sleep.
Below are a few simple tips that I hope inspire you to incorporate them into your evening routine.
✨Dim Lights. Every night around sunset I dim all the light in our home. This helps to start sending signals to your body that I will be going to sleep soon.
✨Avoid phones and electronics at least 1 hour before sleep. Or if you have to be sure to wear blue light glasses, but I highly recommend staying away from any kind of content that will stimulate your emotions and interrupt your sleep.
✨Diffuse Essential oils. I like to use lavender it so relaxing and makes me feel like I am at a spa.
✨Read a book, an actual book is better than digital ones. Keep reading material to uplifting,positive and spiritual.
✨Practice meditation or yoga. Just a few mins, deep breathing, stretching or putting your legs up the wall. All of these will create a more peaceful shift in your energy.
✨Practice Gratitude 🙏 review your day and write out three things you are grateful for.
✨Take a hot bath with essential oils and candles. This is such a good one to do especially when feel anxious.
✨Layout your workout clothes this will motivate you to move your body the next day.
💓I encourage you to give one or a few of these a try. I use to have horrible sleep habits but once I commented on my evening and morning routines I have seen the major benefits to doing so.
